Distant Mountains Fine Art Print
Spending most of my life living in Northern California I have four wheeled, camped, fished, and hiked all over the foothills and back country of the Sierra Nevadas. Often times just as you would come to a clearing, where you were sure you had reached the highest peak or some great distance, the scenery would remind you just how vast and far those hills could stretch. I remember seeing each layer of further reaching mountain and admiring how they could all be such different colors. It always amazed me to think someone sitting on that far peak looking my direction wouldn’t see the deep umber in the ground beneath my feet. They would likely see some faint hint of purple or gray in the blur that I, the trees, and other details were to them. This watercolor was inspired by those places.
This is an unframed, Fine Art Giclée print with white border.
Please be gentle when handling your new print as the paper is matte, it can be absorbent to the oils on your fingers. Try to touch the edges and back only.
Each print is made to order, printed locally and shipped by me. I take great care in ensuring your order is packaged with love, so please allow 5-10 business days for your order to ship.
Small size prints will be shipped in a rigid flat mailer. Larger prints will be rolled and shipped in a tube mailer.
